If you are planning to move home – buying or renting, we can help with the legwork. As with our other services, we are flexible in our offerings – from performing ad hoc tasks at your request to dedicated time each day progressing tasks agreed with you.
For example,
- registering and keeping in contact with estate agents, direct mail campaigns to find properties not yet on the market, sifting through property details, visiting properties to further narrow your search (within the Richmond and surrounding areas), making appointments for you to visit properties,
- researching areas for schools, transport, facilities (e.g. gyms, golf clubs, after school clubs, parks),
- helping you prepare your home for sale to ensure it achieves the best price possible (from arranging for those bits of DIY that never got done to be finished, to de-cluttering and arranging storage of items for duration of viewings process), getting valuations from estate agents, engaging an estate agent,
- acting as liaison point for solicitors, estate agents, vendor and purchaser,
- finding removal companies, getting quotes, checking references,
- facilitating move day, arranging moving in pre-clean,
- assisting with utilities (water, gas, electricity, telephone), council tax, and other bills changes, plus all the other notification of address change requirements, mail re-direction, parking permits, finding out rubbish collection services etc,
- post move tasks like finding a cleaner, babysitters, arranging handyman, getting building work quotes, finding local amenities and settling in to your new home,
- answering questions like ‘how does this work in the UK?’.
Our services are available for an ad-hoc number of hours from £30 per hour or we can provide an price for the duration of your moving process where our hourly charges start at £27 per hour.
